New to chat and forums, and to the term "Glider" A spinal cord injury took away my ability to continue to work my normal 12-14 hr. day. I can no longer stand up for more than 45min, walk very far, or do any labor around my home. Any semblance of a social life came to a screetching halt. I was in no [B]way[B] going to do a wheelchair or hoverwhatever. I will eventually wind up in a chair, but not YET. My thoughts were drifting down a dark path.
When I found a dealer in Corvallis, we took the 45 min. drive. It literally saved my life. Too bad these things are not covered by Medicare!
