March 20, 2003 - detnews.com -- Make way for the Segway. I recently wrote that the electric, self-balancing, two-wheeled personal transportation device is finally available for individuals. Until this month, the Segway was offered only to businesses, police agencies and the U.S. Post Office. I asked if any readers with access to a Segway would let me take one for a spin.
