My new lift.
I've tried ramps etc. but the body forced me to go another direction:
The rack: In balance mode, foot holds HT in place: In power assist: Swing her in: Done!: The mount: Total time 3 mins.

Beautiful, Al!
Wouldn't two fit if the first one in was sitting more upright? Seems like a second one could be placed right behind the first one. How about just taking off the CS's, too?

Yeah, that's a looooong trek in a crowded van, and beaucoup bucks for gas and motels, to say nothing of four or five days each way. I made it hitching back in '76 from Clearwater to LA in three days, but that was around the clock with no stops and great rides--one from Mobile swapping off driving all the way to Phoenix on I-10. I remember a number of drunks were eager to pick me up so I could drive and they could sleep. Fun times. West coast of Florida, and we're there, whenever that may happen again.

This is a very good idea and just what I need for my boat! I am currently using a manual stainless steel davit in conjunction with a cradle made of strapping that is sewn criss-cross fashion. It works, but this would greatly reduce the need for elbow grease.
Where did you get the wench and shaft system? Thanks for sharing this. Larry |

The wench? Why she came with the marriage contract. The shaft system? Why I had it when I was born! Of course, since I'm sure he means winch I'll stop now...although I do have a few more up my sleeve! Steven |

I'll give exact info when I get home. Here's the beauty of it, the arm/motor can be used on another base. Like the one on my boat !
