Default iPad Wallpaper

See what happens when you don't have real children? You become a gadget parent with photos of your mechanical 'baby' on everything.

The only thing I can say about it, is that it looks great. I'm hoping my iPad will arrive soon (it's on it's way from Germany).

Hey florin

I'm happy your's is arriving soon. It fits really well in the Segway bag, although with your talent, you'll probably build a mount or something for it.

Today I glided along the Hudson River bike trail in NYC. On the way home, I glided to the water, parked the Segway at a bike rack, and read the iPad in the shade. It was fantastic.

That's great, Lil! Good to see you're enjoying your iPad in such a Segway-kinda-way! Can't wait to get ours, too, as I'm teaching myself Objective-C in order to create iPad apps! I think they're going to sell like crazy all over the world.

Not for me, I have ordered the dodocase, looks great on their website. So with the case around it, toss it in the segway bag and glide.

I would have glided the Segway into the shades, I don't want it to feel lonely at the bike rack, while I would be reading in the shades.

Nice photo, lilnyc. I'm not an Apple fan and really don't fancy an iPad myself, but the freedom of having something portable like that tucked away in your Segway bag is a great combination.

Ah, but you see, Gareth, the iPad is yet another "Pied Piper's Call" to yet add to the charms of the iPod and iPhone. You may eventually relent in spite of yourself! Do you trust your resolve not to succumb if you should chance to actually touch one at a nearby Apple reseller or Apple retail establishment?

I'd love to have a play with one but pretty soon I'd be thinking - how does this fit into my life. I already have a smart phone, I already have a 3G netbook... can I afford to pay so much for things I already have covered? Don't get me wrong, I think it's cool looking and well designed - but, only time will tell if it finds a home in world a where people want more for less and where openness and accessibility are key for many (me included).

I suppose some people may say the same about Segways...

Very nice! I actually have my Segway as my iPhone's wallpaper.
