Default Ryno

Looks like the RYNO uni-motor-cycle is going to be available by Christmas this year.

I've been following it since the very first day (ok maybe 3rd) and have been interested in trying one.

I'm also interested in the classifications, since it is a unicycle, however also a motorcycle.

Some recent updates to their site reveal a price of $5295.

Unfortunately, the speed of the device, whilst originally touted as 12.5MPH / 25MPH on the road (I seem to recall) has been fixed at just 10MPH.

The range is 10 miles on a charge.

Whilst I still marvel at the tech, unfortunately the price, range and speed make this less attractive to me now, leaving the Segway, IMHO, miles ahead.

But let's hope it does well and improves.

I will wait and see... yea the 10mph has me scratching my head? I like the back carrying saddle wish I could see it closer.

But for the price starting...I only see it coming down not up...Being disabled this is just another option which makes me smile!

I've taken the opportunity to preorder one, due to the fact that they also state the option to purchase lithium batteri(es) and the likelihood of the governor being updatable with software modifications at a dealer to change the top speed.

Who knows?
