Hi Guys,
My I180 has developed a slow leak in both tyres. I loose about 2-3psi per month.
Are these tyres Tubeless?.
If so is this gunk you can squirt in any good?
Can you fit tubes, if so any source links Please.
Look forward to any suggestions.
Thanks

The HT models are tubeless.

I've have had success using a product called Slime on many occasions with Gen 1 machines. So it is important that you purchase the version (formula) of Slime for tyres, not the formula for tubes. Slime is widely available in NZ from retailers such as Repco and SuperCheap Auto.

If Slime doesn't work, then there are a couple of other options. I have several pre-owned Gen 1 'Wheel+Tyre' items available with good tread on them. There are both HT i167 and i180 rim styles available. There is even a chance that I have one one brand new i180 Wheel+Tyre left in stock, high up on a shelf somewhere. I also have i180 silver wheel inserts.

The i2/i2SE uses tubes. The i2/i2SE tyre fits on the Gen 1 rim. So the other option is to buy and fit a set of i2/i2SE tyres and tubes. If you decide on this route then you will want to replace the tyres on both sides of your HT at the same time. The i2/i2SE tyres and tubes are in stock. This tyre has better grip than the HT thread pattern, but the rubber compound is softer and is not as long wearing. You're welcome to give me a call to discuss.

The Gen 1 machines sure are fun to ride!
