"Edit" button deletes all line breaks

When you press the "Edit" button to edit a post, it takes you to a "quickie" editor, with a button available to take you to a more advanced editor. Unfortunately, the text processor in the quickie editor deletes all the line breaks in the message, and when you go to the Advanced editor page, they stay gone. They're really gone, too: if you press the "Save" button in the quickie or the advanced editor, the message goes up with all line breaks deleted.

The only way around this is to go to the Advanced editor page every time and put all the line breaks back in before saving. Pain in the butt.
