I do like the fact that this now becomes a part of this site. I would love for SC to be a hub for dynamic content relating to Segways instead of having the plethora of burgeoning Segway sites out there.

SC has a presence all it's own, and needs to flower and mature in different ways.

Sal, considering that Segway, Inc. hosts Segway Chat, don't you think that certain forms of information are best hosted elsewhere?

Actually, to my knowledge Inc. doesn't host SC, it merely links to it, and I do think that SC needs to be a place which is the "gold standard" for enthusiast participation (IMHO)

Hi John,

Check out this map: http://www.segwaytoday.net/SegwayToday/Guest_Map.html

It uses the Google Maps API, If you can make a static page in vBulletin which can include some Javascript (which are provided by Google), you can have the map shown.

Then it's just a matter of working together with Segway Today to get the marker-placing part to work, or you could create your own scripts to manually or automatically place markers.

USA only doesn't do much for the "gold standard" argument IMO

Talking

To be honest I never noticed that feature until now! Great feature though! To be honest I just thought map meant site map something I had no interest in!

Just checked the map, and there is no map (image unavailable). The pins are there, however.

Default Its a google map

So sometimes it takes time to come up depending on Google

I just went in and approved a bunch of pins.

Try it again.
