Hi Wayne, it's all good but everything takes so long .
We've now finalised the details of the tour with the CHA Barrage Manager who is very pro the whole thing. The next stage is a meeting with the Health & Safety manager in about a week's time; apparently he's uneasy about the tour mixing with pedestrians but I'm hoping that we've got enough evidence to get up and running, initially for a trial period. So, all being well, you'll be able to see us on the CHA webcam soon Alan |

Here We Go!
Hi all,
I've just got back from a meeting with Cardiff HArbour Authority and am pleased to announce that they have finally agreed our tour, initially on a trial basis, to start in about 2 weeks time (just in time for the summer holidays). Needless to say I'm very pleased - watch this space for further info. Cheers, Alan |

Super
Congratulations! Job well done. I wish you all the best with it Alan. I'm sure it will be something we can look back on and use as a positive example of how well and safe the machines are, and the many opportunities for companies to put their capabilities to good use. If I'm ever down your way, I'll definitely climb on board for a tour.

Hi Alan,
Congratulations! Be sure to enter your tour info at the Segway Guided Tours directory: www.SegwayGuidedTours.com This site is a listing of Segway tours worldwide. (It only lists guided tours, not simply rentals.) The directory is a marketing tool for tour operators like yourself, and listings are completely free. By the way, if anyone happens to know of any guided tours that aren't in the directory please let me (or the tour operator) know! I'm always watching for new tours, but I can't possibly find them all... Thanks, --Joe SegwayGuidedTours.com The global Directory of Guided Tour rentals featuring the Segway® Personal Transporter. |
