Batteries
Hello
Once again I am new to the chat. I have some problems with my batteries and really need some advice. We are a Tour company located in the Bahamas. My power supply was very low because of the Electric Company issues. It was about 60nvolts and I plugged in 6 working Bikes and in minutes the batteries were all red. I have a re conditioner and the voltage on the batteries are 75.8 but when i put them back on the bikes they are still red. What can I do. Its hurting my business. |

Welcome to the forum amare1959
What units are you operating for your tour business? Are they the Segway x2 or i2? Perhaps the newer i2 SE or a different product such as the NineBit Segway scooters? How old are these and have you performed any maintenance or had the batteries replaced any time? Did you get factory certified batteries if so? You mentioned trouble with the electric company not supplying regular current. Has this been resolved? Was it a one time fault or is the electrical service regularly undependable? Information such as this is likely necessary for the 'smart kids' to give an appropriate answer. I suspect if someone does get interested in helping, they will have questions of their own. Please hang in there and when you find a solution, please share it here with us. Cheers and good luck! |

A forum really works better when everyone can view the solution.
In fact, if a solution is proposed and then verified by the user requesting help, (a post with closure), then not only do all members learn how to help others in the future... ... but the fault AND possible solution are archived for future generations after the collapse of humanity as we know it. Please keep the discussion in the public forum for the benefit of all. PM should be reserved for sensitive information such as personal contact info and payment financials. Thank you for understanding... no secrets. cheers! |

I see where Michael is likely offering to sell a battery reviver device to the OP.
amare1958, please let us know if you indeed purchase this device and how well does it work for your needs. Cheers! |

He is in business to make money, and he respects the board enough to not sell anything in the open. Its not a matter of secrets, its about a solution that cost money, and he sells and rents the things to help... |

I see that he is a purveyor of wares and service. I followed his link and I also read some of the other posts where that was going on. I understand now. Thanks |
