Finally took the plunge.....

After pining for one for 2 years, I finally took the plunge and got an i2 Commuter Segway. I'm the IT guy for a school district, and I've really enjoyed driving the Segway between buildings instead of my car. It's twice as fast as taking the car, I don't have the parking issue, and it's a heck of a lot of fun.

I also have 2 teen-age daughters, who keep taking the car, so I took used the Segway as my ride home on Friday.

I've already learned a lot as a result of lurking in these forums, and look forward to learning more.

Having experienced the teen-aged daughter/car thing, I think next time around, I'll think seriously about getting her her own Segway. It's probably cheaper in the long run.

(My younger daughter is currently 8, and wanting a p133 for Christmas... well, she'd rather have a horse, but...)
