Default (First?) iBOT on eBay!

I'm curious about the final price... I think it's the first iBOT on eBay ever!

I bid, but even my highest offer was quickly outbid... I guess I could go for a home equity loan

Default The estimated value is off.....

29 large is a bit high for a 3000. I think a 4000 can be had for a little less.

Lets see where this one goes.

Be Big,
Alan

Default tempting

I'd bid, but I think I should leave it for someone who truly needs it. What's your guess for how much it'll go for? 10K?

ps - Besides the joystick gets in the way of the polo mallet when I swing! 8^) 8^) 8^)

I'd hate to estimate how much new batteries for that thing cost.

Do they use the same batteries as segways? I seriously doubt it, but there's been stranger things.

I believe they used NiCads before.

IIRC, 60 NiMH D cells for 72 V per pack. Made by Sanyo, I believe.

Question WOW what a price

I can't believe the iBOT sold for only $7600. I would have thought atleast $10,000. That price is not much more than I paid for my new i2. Someone got a great deal. I just hope the person who bought it really needs it.

Well, you never know, it may have some undisclosed problems with it. But yeah, that was cheap.
