Default Handlebars Issue for Ninebot Minipro

My wife and I purchased a Segway Ninebot Minipro a few months ago and we decided to order a handlebar accessory. I literally just got the handlebars last week and am having issues removing the knee bar - the very kneebar that I installed when we got the Segway. I removed the screws, but it's as if it's welded in place. It will not move out of the square hole. My wife and I would LOVE to try the handlebars. Any ideas?

I hooked the claws of a claw hammer under the edge. I then tapped, not hit, it to lift it up. It came off after a few taps.

Im assuming it was a straight clawed hammer?....A wonder bar probably(pry bare) would do the trick also.

Yes, anything that can get under the lip and be tapped with a hammer will work.

Default miniPRO handlebar tips

To remove it, you can also use a strap (like a thin belt) to slip behind it, and pull hard. But I like the claw hammer idea better, I think.

What you really want to do is apply some lubricant (eg grease) before attaching it to the shaft for the first time. And if you didn't do this at first and have now successfully pulled it off, do add some lubricant before you reinstall it.
