Confusing ADA laws.
Several of you have done a great job in researching the laws pertaining to Segways and we all owe you a great thank you. But it is still confusing. I have found most people excepting and interested in Segways and mostly polite when I discussed using a Segway, except the head of security at Canton, Texas. She was not ugly with me, just unreasonable. I guess at some point the bureaucrats will come to some kind of a conclusion, at least partially.
For us using Segways, we will just have to be polite and push. |

As far as Canton TX, if they denied you access then they are in violation of Federal Law. I would file a ADA complaint. If you got in then well done, another person was informed. Be Big, AMAC

They told me no, but when I went to city hall they let me glide. It's all written up in this forum. In a way I wished they would not have let me glide, then I could have complained. As it is I don't know if the next person will be able to use a Segway or not. I only went to the trade days because family members wanted to go. I have no interest in ever going again. It's just not something that interests me.
