New from Holland, Segway with Segseat for MS patient

Hi all,

Here a short introduction. Couple of weeks ago we became proud owners of a Segway i180 and Segseat. My wife suffers MS for 10 years now and walking becomes difficult last couple of years. Not with a Segway and Segseat anymore, we've made a small video last week from the first trip. and put it on Youtube. Just search Youtube for "segway segseat maasduinen" and you will see it.

Got a question , maybe someone can help: I've seen on a video a sort of blanket/mat to pull the Segway up into a trunk of a car. It was in a Segsaddle video. Does anyone know the name of that blanket/mat construction? Thanks, Rene

Do you have a link to the video, in which you have seen the mats?

That will make it a bit easier, because there are several videos out there on the internet showing a segseat.

around 0:17 seconds you will see the mat hanging out of the cars trunk
also around 2:37. Hope this will give a clue.

Bought last friday foldable ramps at the OBI in Germany for €99,- but they are made from steel and heavy to carry.

The mat does look useful. I haven't seen it before, hopefully one of the other members on Segway Chat knows more about this mat.

I am Hans Willems from the Netherlands, I have seen the you tube film with the "blanket". Last time Ilooked at ebay I saw the original Segway ramp for 100 dollar, and that one is lite and foldebel , just look international at ebay.
