I just discovered a Segway rental agency in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada the other day. www.SegwayBC.com
I was wondering if anyone else has discovered a Segway rental agency in North America? Love to hear about it..... Thanks |

NEVrland, Inc. rents Segways. We are the only company I know of that has a agreement with Segway to rent the product. Cheers Keith Albrizzi NEVrland, Inc. Relay Transportation 407-566-0911 Segway Service, Sales and Rentals |

NEVrland, Inc is opening more stores. We also have franchising opportunities available. We don't disclose the amount of units that we have sold.
We are very happy as to what Segway adds to the store. Take Care Keith Albrizzi NEVrland, Inc. Relay Transportation 407-566-0911 Segway Service, Sales and Rentals |

I called. They charge just to stand on it. We have always demo'd for free. I understand that this is free enterprise to each his own.
Their Charges: $10.00 to get trained. .33 cents per minute to ride. You sign your life away on the liability form. They carry no Insurance protecting the company, the rider or the segway. They might have regular business ins. We carry 1 million on specialized Segway Ins (No we do not give the name out). Insurance companies do not write policies for gas moped's so when you rent one your life is in your own hands, To many claims. The rental company is not thinking of the renter they are thinking of the quick dollar that can be made. Accidents happen but when you get on something from my company I will also cover you. It's a small price to pay to sleep at night. I would love to see more locations open up but it needs to be done the right way. We have been doing electric vehicle rentals for 4 years. Let me check my inferences here, Keith, please correct me if wrong and fill in the blanks:
"They" and "their" = Disney. Disney does not provide free demos, NEVrland does. Disney charges $.33 per min rental, NEVrland presumably more, but Disney's rental uninsured, NEVrland 1 million insured. . . SegCenter.com . . StirlingInfo StirlingChat |
