Make your own test tube Stirling engine
Hi Y'all ! Where are my fellow science & tech minded friends, these days ? (Gyro, you may be interested in these plans for a little homemade Stirling engine, as an addition to your Stirling web page ) Here's a neat little 'Test tube Stirling engine' you can make on your own, with some fairly simple parts : http://www.nmri.go.jp/eng/khirata/st...1/index_e.html And here's a movie showing this Test tube Stirling in action ! (You need a fast connection to view this) : http://www.nmri.go.jp/eng/khirata/st...1/testtube.mpg Seeker |

It was good. There were no Segways. But, any FIRST event is always good. One of the dad's on our team i =s gettting one, I think that I am more impaitent than him for him to get it. :-D Anyway, I am excited about this years competition, we already have some designs. We want to start building in 2 days.
Allright, gotta go to bed.... Bill "Those who think that they know everything are especially annoying to those of us who do." |
