Photos of Segway party rentals in Seattle
A friend sent me these photos of a van in west Seattle. It appears to be the AllStar party rental company van. AllStar was mentioned in a thread several weeks ago.

Can't find the previous thread about Allstar Party Rentals. Can you refer us to that topic? Do you know how its set up? Wonder how many are in the van? Do you know what the round canisters hanging from the handlebars are? Those bags on front look like little lunch or pop/beer coolers.
The trailer hitch seems pretty simple and it looks like they're only supported on the wheel closest to the vans doors. Which would make it simplier to release those ratchet straps little by little till one wheel touches the ground and then lean the other wheel off and turn at the same time and its off. To raise them you just ratchet it up. Pretty simple, and effective I think. Can you fill us in on more details of their operation? "Wouldn't it be cool, if?...is like Folgers in my cup" |

Appearently from Blinky's link to their site they have party rental entertainment rides. Inflatable, slides, rides, Sumo wrestling suits, pogo stick wars (like on Gladiators) Velcro walls, etc. Like for corporate parties, fairs, etc. But, I still don't see what their rates are, and how many HT's you can rent at one time. But looks like they got a good start.

I've never talked with the rental company. The Segway rack design was different from anything I've seen before, so thought it was worth posting the photos. I'm not sure the design gives a Segway enough support, but we have *lots* of potholes here in Seattle...so I'm sure it will get a good test!
