![]() Welcome
I was the Australian Segway dealer in ancient times. I still have a soft copy of the i167 Service Manual on file. I can send it to you, for future use, if you let me know your email address. Michael www.dgbint.com |

![]() I'm not allowed to add email...
You wouldn't by chance know where I could get 1 i167 NiMh battery? I think that I fried the charge controller within the battery case. While fighting the gorilla snot the batteries still had some life and there was some sparking involved. I'm getting the red wrench light. Thanks JK |

![]() You can click on my link above
www.dgbint.com Send me a message that way. The original i167 supported only NiMH batteries ( thin ones ). Most machines received a software update, and could support either NiMH ( thin ) or Li-ion ( thicker ) batteries ). Most dealers who updated software placed a round flyguy sticker on the chassis somewhere. Not sure of the status of your machine. NiMH batteries were discontinued about 10 years ago. There will not be any new ones available. Undamaged ones can be re-celled. Sounds doubtful in your case. https://www.mtobattery.com should be able to give you advice. If your software has been updated you may use Li-ion batteries. You just might find some new ones, or freshly re-celled ones. Again MTO can probably guide you. Good luck Michael |

![]() Thanks for the reply. I contacted MTO and they do NOT repair CCA's only replace batteries. If the board in the battery box is bad then I'm out of luck! I need a battery that has not potentially shorted out the board in the battery box. I would assume that there might be someone out there with a battery that I could pull the board out of?
