Which is why my 9-year-old daughter only gets to use the Segway in limited circumstances as well until she grows a bit more. (Eventually, maturity will be the issue rather than physics!) I've had a really tiny kid, about 3 years old, on my Segway, with even more limitations (including being able to grab the Segway in milliseconds, and her dad prepared to grab her equally quickly). It's such a delight watching their reactions! (And safer than the process of learning to ride a bike! Do you know ANY kid who's not been injured at least once in learning to ride a bike?)
