Default How the PONY SEAT works

I've been absent from this board for a couple of years due to my retirement.
I see there are a couple of new SEAT names out there. A lot of creativity out there. Many years ago a member suggested seat ideas were not rocket science.
True enough but since after so many years of waiting I'll mention two things I would like if I were in a wheelchair and wanted to ride a Segway.

Firstly, those in wheelchairs need a new style wheelchair which will permit a wheelchair bound person to approach the rear of a (active, but stationary positioned Segway). Then like the glider bars similar to many cabinet drawers transfer THE SEAT section from the wheelchair to the back of the Segway while remaining seated. After positioning the seat onto the Segway, the height most likely will need to be raised by manual or mechanical force(battery or small electric motor perhaps.

Secondly, there may be seats in which the BASE of the seat is built like a rocking chair but I haven't seem them. In every seat video I've seen the big disadvantage is having too lunge forward at the waist in order to move forward. In stop and go situations this can be very annoying / tiring. I recall the first time I put rockers on the base was so thrilliing due to the absence of lunging forward and backwards. Someone once referred to the PONY SEAT as "lean steer, knee steer and now butt steer". I think of it more as bringing your feet/ankles up around your waist.
This is exactly the feeling when in the sitting position on the Segway.

Thirdly, probably wouldn't work too well if you're in a wheelchair. The bottom half of the seat is stationary except for the rocking motion which would be block in so as not to work itself off the platform. The top half is built in such a way as to allow a small amount of leaning from left to right side.

Between the rocking motion and left/right leaning YOU WILL feel like you are riding a little electric pony. That is why I called my seat...
the PONY SEAT.

be safe,

the PONY SEAT guy,

Default Seated segway experiences?

I have been away from SEGWAYCHAT for several years and have lost touch with previous threads/Posts (I was WALLACE...NOW DRJ321)
I had a GEN I for many years and "Graduated to a JAZZY Powerchair in 2014)

I now reside in a 3 story Assisted Living Center in Vermont. We have excellent Lift Van transportation for shopping, medical appointments, visiting family, etc.

I am now looking at an ALLY Seated Segway. Is there someone out there who has actual riding experience on an ALLY who would be willing to CHAT?

Pro/CON/Wishes?
