There are lots of things that look good on the websites that sell them. There are lots of things that look good on paper, or in sales brochures.
I prefer to see what the reality will be, and what the actual device does, and it does not yet seem to be available for people to actually buy and use. Once that happens, I agree, it should be explored and honestly evaluated. I would like a side by side comparison with the segway, as well as with other self balancing conveyances, done by an impartial judge. But we can only offer conjecture till the machine actually is available for consumers to purchase and take ownership.
