A segway would have been a great way to get around the Enterprise. Second only to teleportation. No stairs.

It would seem that we are speaking of the i22, and it has new instant self recharging batteries, but they use Trilitium. Several episodes and a movie or two mentioned some nefarious early i22 adopters trying to get some...

From the way the camera shots were edited it's hard to say for sure he's riding it unaided.

I did a little googling; this is the intro to the season 2 episode's of his Weird or What TV show.
The Season 1 intros were the same, but with him walking.
