Ninebot ES2 will not charge
Hi all. I have an ES2 which does not recognize the charger when plugged in. Light on charger stays green. Scooter is running latest firmware.
I know the charger is ok cause I also have an ES1 and that charger will charge that scooter just fine. I’ve had the scooter less than a year so some components may still be under warranty. Still waiting to hear from the manufacturer on that. All suggestions appreciated. Evan |

Hi Evan
I've serviced hundreds of ES-series KickScooters. it is almost certain that the battery charging component of the Main Board inside your ES2 has failed. This is why your KickScooter still works, but won't recharge the internal battery. The fix is to replace the Main Board with a new one (programmed) or a known-good used one. Philip
