I just bought my i2 in July 2009. Here in Edmonton, we have snow and cold weather for almost half of each year. So, I am gliding all I can while the weather is nice! I love it.

Welcome aboard Canadian colleague! The Seg i2s work pretty well in the cold, as well. I've seen photos of some members even riding them in the snow, though I would not necessarily recommend it. Put on a nice warm windbreaker and have at it year round!
