way off topic but microsoft keeps deleting my post

Ok, I really need help. My computer has some corrupted files, I dont have an internet connection on it, and I cant open system restore. And windows media player is displaying a message saying that an internal error has occurred. So no internet connection, system restore's not working, and neither is windows media player. Is there anyway to fix this? I tried to open system retore in safe mode but it still did'nt work.

Thanks and I hope someone will actually repond to this rather than deleting it like idiot microsoft.

Microsoft windows XP home edition, intel pentium 4 mobile 1.70GHz with 400 MHz system bus, 512 MB RAM, 40GB HDD
