Default Paul O'Grady

The Segway section on the Paul O'Grady show was very, very poor.

Here it is if you really want to see it.

Type "www.youtube.com" then type "/watch?v=VpRGKIPSMDs"

Cheers
Phil

Hang my head in shame

I tried really hard to talk them out of it, but as you can see I failed. It's a shame because the last time we did the show it was Segway v EZ Glide and Paul rode the Segway ok, and them promptly crashed the EZ Glide.
I don't think Kevin James helped by saying that they can be difficult to learn at first, but that's Hollywood as usual building up the part, I guess.

You can't win them all. It looked very "staged" to me. But the casual observer probably might make more of it.

Is the fact that someone not using one correctly, or obviously lacking the necessary skills to operate one correctly, and subsequently crashing, likely to make anyone think negatively about the machine? It could have been a unicycle, a bicycle, well you get the idea. Sometimes saying something is easy to learn actually creates a false sense of security which can go against you. Be comfortable, but not too comfortable.
