Can't turn off scooter
Hello everyone
I just bought a ninebot segway scooter ES2. I powered it on but it doesn't want to turn off when I hold the power button. Is their any solution to this? Thanks a lot. Pieter |

Hi!
The scooter should turn itself off after a couple of minutes when it is not in use. Don’t know if this will happen in you case, but just let it be, and hopefully it will go off When off; turn it back on to see if there’s any updates on your Ninebot app as well |

Moisture in the BrainFart placed power button.
I wrapped mine in plastic and it helps just a little. |

Your Segway scooter is locked!
If you have accidentally locked your scooter, (see the padlock in the middle of the speedo in the Segway app) you cannot turn it off. Tap the padlock to unlock in the middle of the speedo Segway app. Then try turning off again!

My thread is still waiting for mod/admin approval but I encountered a problem where my scooter keeps turning itself on in the middle of the night. It seems to be related to setting the maximum charge level to less than 100% in the app. When it reaches the target charge level it just turns on as if you unplugged it to go for a ride. It does not distinguish between unplugging and stopping the charge because it is full. It will cycle on and off, beeping and flooding the room with obnoxiously animated RGB lights until you get up and unplug it, which defeats the purpose of the app since you are manually limiting the charge level.
I know it isn’t the same issue here but I found this thread by searching for my issue and others might too. |
