Default delete.

I think you can. I believe that it is in the same page where you can edit. However, you only have a limited time to do so.

It's True!

That said, I think the buttons are messed up (from a human UI perspective) and can be confusing. You press "Delete" and a confirmation panel drops down with "radio" buttons that give you the option to select "Do Not Delete Message" and "Delete Message." Below that is a button that says, "Delete this Message."

So, you already have a confirmation button to press, it's MARKED "Delete this Message," but in order for it to ACTUALLY delete the message you have to also click the radio button marked "Delete Message." So that's a triple check. Not common and a bit confusing if, all you wanted to do was just delete the freekin' message!

Default This option is only available for a limited time to the user

What was happenin was members were deleting parts of posts and threads long time after they had posted them, when they were in heated discussions with other members about what they posted.

Now only the Moderators can delete.

Please send the Moderators a request, with a valid reason, for what you want deleted and they will do it for you.
