FavIcon
Pam,
I hate seeing the generic V-Bulletin icon being used for the forum, so I made an "SC" favicon for us. Download the attached and change the extension to ".ico" (no quotes) and drop it on the root of the forum directory. favicon.txt Hope you like it! -Fernando |

Thanks Fernando, if I had access to the housed folders, I'd to it for ya, but I think Pam can send the file through the proper channels.

Looks good to me. I like using FavIcons when sorting through my favourites. Just wish they wouldn't keep disappearing everytime I clear my internet files.

Yes? No?
Sounds like at least a couple of you liked the favicon I made... Is it going up?
Cheers, Fernando |

I dunno. I sent it to John, and apparently he's been pretty busy, because there's that and one other issue still outstanding.
Don't take it personally... Pam |

Not at All
Not taking it personally at all Pam! I do web design too and I know all about being busy... Was just wondering.

FavIcon
Marty,
If you look at the address bar on your browser, to the left of "http" is an icon. Right now it looks like a "V" in a purple box because it is the default icon that vBulletin distributes with it's software. I made a custom favicon that looks like the "SC in a globe" you see at the top of this site. It can replace the default vBulletin one and make the site a little more personalized. These icons also show up next to your bookmarks (favorites in IE)... -Fernando |
