Pam, belay those fears and doubts. If you should fall,like on the bike, look at all the concerned people who rushed to your aid. Feel wonderful that there are people around who care enough to stop and give you a hand! Did you ever fall off the bike when you were young and it was your first time to solo...no training wheels or parent holding onto the seat? The foot pads will help soften the platform and make the ride seem smoother. New muscles used for new purposes usually scream thier objections when put to the task of doing work. It will pass. Ditto above, give it a chance.
