Installing a parking stand on XT 1st Generation

Has anyone installed a parking stand on a 1st generation XT? I would like to have one on mine if someone can help.
I don't want to drill into the front of the unit.
Can someone help me?

There are a couple of aftermarket solutions, you end up using the three bolts in the transmission that hold on the fender. Check out the "ugly stick" sold by segway of oakland.

Segway of Oakland "Junkyard"

Not pretty, but it works well.
