segway screen flashing red, wont turn on...

hi there,
so when i go to turn my segway on the screen starts flashing red and makes the same noise as if there was something on the platform while starting it. I just got my batteries refurbed but i was wondering if you think it could be something in the sensors??? if anyone has anything to share on this subject I am all ears.
ps...rebooting did not help.

I am having the same probs w/ my i180. Using MTO rebuilds here. Went with the 3.3Ah NiMH (2x36V) Rebuild Service rebuilt to 3.3Ah which is slightly better than factory spec. But now the red wrench when I tunr it on! I am taking it to DC on Tues to have it evaluated.

PS first I tried all the normal tricks ie swapping out with other known working batteries, repositioning, inspecting connectors, all no joy.
