Thank you. I have not seen those particular tires in person, but I maintain that I have used many tires, and will stand behind my Ketts (Chen Shin 186) for both grip and comfort.
I would love the opportunity to go tire for tire in a traction, and all out contest. If someone has other than standard tires, we should do a series and publish the results... It will require that not only we compete seg to seg, but also swap machines, so that the operator factor is minimized.

http://www.segforum.de/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=130 takes you directly to the video -- just in case you don't read Dutch (?).

Hellphish got pretty lucky in getting a pair. Well, actually, if you don't mind me throwing in an OPTA, he got them because he plays polo. Turns out that a fellow polo player wisely imported several pairs. I'd known which of my fellow polo players were looking for knobbies, and I knew Hellphish would pay the premium price for a sweet pair of knobbies.
So a few calls, and the deal was set up. Heck, I even pulled a few strings and got him free rims with no shipping charges since someone's heading down to SoCal and bringing them with them! What's the moral of this story? Play polo and good things come to you! 8^) 8^) 8^) |
