Hi All,
Segway Today set out to demonstrate the utility and durability of the Segway Personal Transporter. The first challenge: Fargo Street in Los Angeles, California. At a 32 percent grade, it’s one of the world’s steepest public streets. Take a look at: http://www.segwaytoday.net/SegwayTod...ce_Series.html Please note that no Segways or gliders were harmed in this production.

Fargo St. may be the 2nd steepest in the Los Angeles area (like Avis, it tries harder).
Here are a few links refering to steep grades. http://www.walkinginla.com/2004/Feb15/EldredSt.html http://deputy-dog.com/2007/09/18/the...-in-the-world/ http://www.sfcvb.org/travel_media/pr...p?rid=98&cid=5 Warren |
