Default Why a Stand Up Scooter is NOT a Segway

Folks:

This is a paper that I recently finished to help DRAFT explain why a Stand Up Scooter is NOT a Segway.

I'd posted some early drawings, and the comments from the board helped me get my act together. (Freshman Physics was a LONG time ago...)

Thank you!

Note that this paper ONLY looks at straight line motion and the effects of acceleration and deceleration. It is NOT a complete analysis of the benefits of the Segway to the disabled community. Perhaps we should set up a Wiki and get to work on that?

All the best,

Brian
