ES4 Won't Switch On
Hi everyone,
I have a Ninebot (SEGWAY) ES4 Scooter which won't turn on. When trying to switch on the scooter through the button on the module between the handlebars, the scooter won't turn on, despite the battery's lights turning on when I press the battery button. Any idea on what could be the issue? How can I fix it? |

What happens if you put it on charge? Maybe the internal battery is dead.

Hi! Thanks for your response. Charging it doesn't make any difference at all unfortunately.

I've tried putting in charge but that doesn't seem to be helping at all.

Having same issue. Bought brand new ES4 from Segway.com on July 6, arrived July 15, worked for 2 miles, then won't power on again. Not sure what to do. Can't get through to Segway support. Might have to do a chargeback on the credit card and let segway.com eat it.

One possibility is that the switch on the Handlebar has failed, or has got wet from heavy rain. See if you can find someone else with an ES2 or ES4, and swap on their Handlebar and see if the KickScooter turns on (this only takes about 1 minute to try).
