Moved topics
I think the problem with moving topics is that the way the site is laid out right now, 90% of members never see posts that are not in the the Discussion forum. Therefore, there is a great incentive to put everything into Discussions, instead of actually categorizing them.
This should be changed. Hubbah ::: http://stinkyshorts.blogspot.com ::: |

Well, y'know what Hubbah ... it's always been this way, and for the immediate future, it's gonna stay this way. We have a formula that we're happy with. Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the feedback Hubbah.. So I moved your thread to the appropriate forum.
How would you suggest we do the layout to make it easier to find the other forums? As it is now, you click the ALL FORUMS link above and see a complete list of them. Regards, Frank A. Tropea Admin - "Keep your wheels on the ground!" - Contact Me |

There's a number of different solutions...but as of now, the 'recent topics' list includes only Discussion forum articles -- and most peopl e I bet are used to browsling only topics that are listed there. The easy solution would be to just post every new article, regardless of the forum, in the recent topic list. Hubbah (you prolly miss this reply anyway...) ::: http://stinkyshorts.blogspot.com ::: |

When I hit:
Active Topics I get a complete list from every forum. Is this different for you? BTW Hubbah - please don't post anymore Off Topic stuff to the main forum. You've been around so you are aware of these sub forums.. Ok? Regards, Frank A. Tropea Admin - "Keep your wheels on the ground!" - Contact Me |
