Default for the Mac fans

I was just wondering of any of you had checked out the new G5 iMac. I think it looks pretty sweet but just have to wonder what the heck were they thinking when they put all the ports on the back? At about two inches thick it would have been perfect to mount on the wall where space is a constraint but with all the plugs back there it will have to stand proud of the wall. Not a big gripe but I think it would look a little awkward with an air gap back there.

Go check it out www.apple.com and see what you think.

Could this be the first step to developing a G5 Powebook??? I hope! It's HOT!

The foot of the base seems too narrow. It looks like it will topple over - especially when you have 8 wires plugged into one side of it.

The new Apple monitors have almost the same configuration, and they are very very very stable. Note that the powerpack for the computer is slightly off center off to the left side of the unit behind the thick white space, so it really is very center heavy.
