Running Fine Now
My wife and I just returned from an Hawaiian vacation, and want to report that Segway of Honolulu is up and running. We took a great tour of Honolulu/Diamond Head. Saw lots of other tours gliding around, too.

More info...
Pressed POST too soon...
Tours are a little pricey ( $150+tax / person ), but for 3-1/2 hours, it was great fun and the sights and island info was great. I don't own a Segway (yet), so was a little rusty. Ample instruction was given for everyone in my small group (4 + 2 tour guides) to get confident, including my wife, who was a little nervous about the activity. All went well, even though my wife took a spill (touched wheels with another Segway), and the other lady in our group went down hard (one wheel pavement, other wheel soft sand). Ask for Ryan and/or Shane. Shane is a direct descendant of Hawaiian royalty, and really knows his stuff on Oahu. |
