Default Where to buy new I2 Segway battery

I have an I2 from 2008. After 12 years my batteries are finally dying. Any ideas on where to buy new ones? Tia

You can send them to MTO and get them rebuilt.

It's more price competitive to have your battery rebuilt versus buying new as your not paying for new electronics. Segway batteries have a fair amount of electronics inside and if all you need is new cells, it's the way to go.

I had MTO do mine years ago and the price was reasonable, the workmanship superb and the mileage increased over OEM batteries. I was able to deliver them so no haz delivery problems but since you are in AZ that has to be a consideration. You just can't send these USPS or UPS without special handling.

And, I've got "Blinky" at over 15K.

Assuming you already got your batteries, but there are several dealers on eBay.

"Blinky" is the defining moment when you surpass 10,000 miles (US) and your InfoKey starts to "Blink" signifying the milestone. It's designed so one is aware with an InfoKey / Seg that states 125 miles (because of 5 digit rollover) really means you are getting one with 10,125 miles. Brilliant!!!!!

Trigger remains as is though Roc is gone and Maverick is going a little slower these days & the deep, persisting snow (well, for PA) doesn't help. Trigger is almost 15 years young now and still as strong, even better with rebuilt MTO batteries and some Mothership repairs, better than OEM.

Snow should be melting, so enjoy the rides / glides.

Personally, I would go with MTO Battery in a heartbeat. They have a long and good reputation here. Anything you purchase from a foreign shopping service is full of risks. This is especially true of a product like Seg batteries, which can be hugely affected by the specific indivisible batteries used to build the Seg battery.
