I realize you don't have to display the placard but when you are Segging in an environment that prohibits Segways, and want to avoid confrontation, display your real deal state issued Doctors Rx parking authority card. This would prohibit people from buying or printing placards and using them fraudulently and provide some uniformity from state to state. The mouse might even be able to comprehend a legal placard.

Signs signs every were signs do I have to were a sign can't I just stain my head green. If someone has to ask to see my need to use a Segway let them maybe after they ask me and I give them a little gimp show they will not ask the next segway user. I think gimps and AB's alike should be able to use Segway responsibly.

Lily, you ask how people get a disability placard without a doctor signing off. Probably the same way a 15 year old gets a driver's license showing he's 18 or 21 as the liquor laws require. My criminal law professor was fond of stating, "Justice is fleeting and error common."
