Default First ride on my new X2

Well, finally I received my new X2 yesterday... I went on my first ride and managed to fall off it twice, bruising my shins to the bleeding. First time, I hit the wheel on an edge of a pavement. It made the X2 dance, and throw me out whirling... Second time, I tried to climb a very steep paved slope, it didn't make it, turned around and threw me out. I came home bruising and smiling and my wife burst in tears...
But.. the great day was today. I took it (with my younger son - 15 -) out to nature. We had a 15 km hard terrain ride, many steep uphills and downhills, one of us on a bike and the other on the X2, alternating every few km... It functioned like in my best dreams. No falls this time, just overwhelming joy. Here are just few images to show the fun. Hope you enjoy them and excuse my enthusiasm.

Great shots! It is fun in a particularly unique manner, isn't it!

I particularly liked your lean seat... Alan should take notice, I suspect your son had the most comfortable segway seat to date, but it may be difficult to take so much hay with you everywhere you go...

Default Spend time with the machine

The turn fall is a very common one for a new rider on a Gen II machine. As you ride it more you will learn to anticipate falls.

Love the backround in your shots. It is great to see segs in different regions of the world.

Have fun with it.

Oh and the real reason your wife was crying, was because there was not another seg for her to go gliding on with you guys!.

Very nice shots. I'm going to Israel in about nine days, so at the very least I know I've got good scenery to look forward to. How's the weather this time of year?

As you can see on the shots, the weather right now is fabulous, but this time of the year it can turn suddenly nasty. Anyways, welcome to israel and I hope you enjoy your stay (despite the fact that you are probably leaving your seg at home...)

The unit should have come with a safety video... Spend some time and watch it closely with the whole family, so you don't have to learn the hard way. It will make your wife happier.

Goodluck,

Cube,

If you're staying in Tel Aviv give me a call - I have two Segs and will be happy to give you a tour.
