Default Segway Hauler

Does anybody know if the Segway hauler for the generation 1 machines is compatible with the new i2/x2? I have the Segway 2" hauler part number 1833500003.

I was hoping someone else would answer first. I don't think it is compatible. It looks to me that the leansteerframe is wider than the control shaft so that part that straps around the control shaft wouldn't accept the LSF. I didn't specifically check that. Since the shape of the LSF is very different than the vertical control shaft of gen1, I suspect that bracket that you strap the CS to is not in the right place anymore either.

I can't verify either of those, but that's what it looked like to me.

Thumbs up Got to use a Segvator yesterday

The Segvator is a great product, Dave from Segvator came by with a working model yesterday. Not only is it easy to use, it also has an inverter on it, so you can charge as you go.

Check out the website www.Segvator.com

They also support DRAFT and give each Segs 4 Vets reciepent a Segvator

Default Trailer Hitch Converter?

My Jeep has a 1 1/4" receiver for trailer hitch. My Toyota has a 2" reciever. Has anyone run accross a sleeve which will allow me to use a 1 1/4" Hauler with my Toyota? I'd rather not change out one of the receivers

Exclamation Speak yo your dealer !

Hi

Segway supply the haulers with either a 1 1/4 or a 2 adaptor.
You may buy an extra adaptor, of either format.

So go talk to your local dealer and ask for either:
1903700001 1 1/4" adaptor or
1903700002 2" adaptor

This will make it a perfect for either receiver.

In years past, I had a 1 1/4 inch receiver on my wife's car, and a 2 inch on mine... Most hitch places have an adapter, which is a 1 1/4 post with a 2 inch receiver... Just converts from one size to the other, very easy. Most hitch places and larger big box stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart) have them. You do have to look hard some times... Even the auto chains stores (Auto Palace, Pep Boys) have them as well...
