Default Freego USA

Just found a US supplier for the Freego "balancing scooters".

What do you think?

Crap, junk.
The Robin M1 is likely 10 times better.

Yep. The site specifically says that they don't warrant the machines. They'll act as your go-between with Freego in China, but it's up to Freego in China to fix them. Good luck with that.

Normally, I would say good for them for offering an alternative, but when you offer something you know can't be fixed, and then pretty much wash your hands of any responsibility....

BTW: despite their disclaimer, they may have some warranty obligations under the law, tho I'm not sure.

I would also be very concerned about failsafe system redundancies for safety in case of failures. I don't like faceplants...

Shame that their site refers to one model as a "Seg Style Scooter". Can you imagine Ford hawking their latest car as "Chevy-like"???

The whole site is kinda cheesy and amateurish. Like a bad infomercial ---"As Seen On TV!". Trying to sensationalize and substantiate it with the classic car in the background and the endless "thumbs-ups" are just silly.
