Now that's gotta have quite a battery pack...
 It's a contender for the electric vehicle land speed record. It goes 0-300mph in 102 seconds. Link to info: http://www.abb.com/e=motion Some UK press from a couple of years ago Some more recent press in the Washington Post It does use Lead-Acid batteries, and they swap them out with a fresh set between runs. But it is rather impressive. This is the additional cooling they use on the main drive motors:  I haven't seen so many DC fans bolted together since visiting the PC overclocking forums. Think they'll make it to 300 MPH? |
