The fundamental problem would be getting the 128-bit Link Key that is "shared" by the Segway and the Infokey.
Hacking tools would likely not be useful for this, if all you have is the Segway. |

No response from any of my email inquiries. I called a CALIFORNIA dealer near me today, the kid said they can likely do it, and the owner is calling me back tomorrow with the info.

OK, just talked to the owner (Kevin) at Segway of Santa Barbara, CA
He charges $35 +shipping to program a new key. You'll need an old key to copy the info from (in tact and displays the led clock), or provide the 3 segway ID #'s. Instructions on how to locate and record the serial number of your PT and the wireless InfoKey™ Controller are here or see attached pic: Segway of Santa Barbara Attn: Kevin / Programming 122 Gray Ave Santa Barbara CA 93101 Im sending mine in this week, Dorrington has helped me out quite a bit in this forum, so If you need any help coordinating this from the UK, Id be happy to help. |

Dear dorrington,
we are level 2 service point in AUSTRIA. Do you still have one "working" infokey? In that case you can send to us, we can copy to a new one. If not you will need an ID card for the SEGWAY ... do you have this (this is a sticker where you can see the serial no. of the SEGWAY) If you have no working infokey and no ID card for this SEGWAY you need to tell us the serial no. of the SEGWAY (a picture) and we will send request to SEGWAY LEVEL 3 servicepoint for you. Normaly if everything goes smooth they charge extra costs for the ID card but then the programming should be possible. Nice regards, from AUSTRIA CROSSTOURS AT |
