Since you are slightly obsessed with the rep point system, consider this.

Find 20 past posters that don't post anymore, give each one a rep point. That will "flush your cache" then you can assign rep to anyone you want.

Or, convice the administrator to reduce the limit of 20 to a lower figure over on the site feedback page.

Not that I am looking for rep points, I am just concerned that you worry too much about it. You need to conserve all you energies for long distance gliding and polo matches.

I use the tools at hand. I don't try to subvert them. If the moderators have chosen (perhaps by default) for the rep point system to work this way, then so be it. I will continue to use it for the sake of newcomers.
