I just got back from visiting Universal Studios and thought I would share the experience. Getting in was no problem, the guard checks your bag and points you away from the rolling sidewalk, and from there you're on your own. Getting in the attractions was alright too. You still have to "stand" in line but once at the front, you go in a different door usually before the rest of the crowd goes in. There are places to park your seg while you watch the show usually right next to you, and if you go on a ride, it's where only the staff has access to most of the time.

Granted, I only saw half of the park (tickets got fouled up) but no one batted an eye. I talked to some of the staff and was told "they come in here all the time." Their jaw dropped when I told them about Disney, Busch Gardens, Seaworld, et al.

The whole experience was great, hot, but great. I didn't run over anyone either. The cobblestone street, however, was like flossing your teeth with a ski rope. And I got to hear "what the heck is that?" in twelve different languages. So thanks Universal Studios for unlocking the door for us!!

Absolutely great news. I'm glad you had a positive experience where the Seg is concerned.

UNIVESAL ORLANDO, Kevin Huff & Anthony Donofrio have always been at the forefront as far as the Segway and those with mobility issues.

Be Big,
