I had my first experience on a Segway in July at Put-In-Bay Ohio. The rental location was offering 35 minute supervised tours of the island for $35.00. The owner (Peter) explained how the Segway worked and covered the safety issues before putting my wife and I on. The entire experience was on the black demo key. After 10-15 minutes, once we had gotten comfortable on the Segway and we were lead out on our 35 minute tour of the island. We were never allowed to be on the Segs unsupervised. Overall it was an excellent first time experience. Two days later I purchased my first Segway. Three weeks after that we purchased our second Seg. Now we are a 2 Segway family and gliding daily.
